Constructor Detail

SwingMenuBar

public SwingMenuBar()
Creates the SwingMenuBar.

Method Detail

updateUI

public void updateUI()
Due to a misunderstanding how swing handles menubar colors, we have to set them manually. TopLevel menu elements of a bar should have the same color as the bar itself, which is "control". (non-Javadoc)

JMenuBar.updateUI()

addMenu

public void addMenu(Menu menu)
Accepts swing based menu implementations and uses base class functionality to add the menu.

Specified by:
addMenu in interface MenuBar
Parameters:
menu - the Menu to add to this MenuBar.
See Also:
MenuBar.addMenu(com.tensegrity.gui.component.Menu)

addHelpMenu

public void addHelpMenu(Menu helpMenu)
Special add functionality for help menus, due to the fact that help menus usually lie on the rightmost position of the menu.

Parameters:
helpMenu - the help menu to add.

setHelpMenu

public void setHelpMenu(javax.swing.JMenu menu)

getHelpMenu

public javax.swing.JMenu getHelpMenu()

getParentComponent

public BasicComponent getParentComponent()
Description copied from interface: BasicComponent
Returns the parent Component of this instance.

Specified by:
getParentComponent in interface BasicComponent
Returns:
the parent component or null if no parent exists.

applyEvList

public void applyEvList()
Description copied from interface: Evaluable
Tells the component to apply its UIItemEvaluationList.

Specified by:
applyEvList in interface Evaluable

installEvList

public void installEvList()
Description copied from interface: Evaluable
Tells the component to setup its internal state.

Specified by:
installEvList in interface Evaluable
